From my limited experience of the east coast, usually swell from the east. Ability to do surf landings necessary. St Abbs a rocky coast line with limited get outs.  However, if weather is calm it's a wonderful place.

We still need a Leader for this trip to go ahead.  I don't know the area, hence don't feel confident to lead.  Happy to assist another Leader.

We will probably go south in to the Esk, below Muncaster Castle, by Waberthwaite and then as far up the river past check point 21 at the A595 bridge, as the water allows.  As the tide turns so will we.  We will return back to Ravenglass and hopefully then have time to explore the Mite estuary. 

I'm keen and will sign up once opened.

Calmac running normal timetable on Monday 19th.  I'm remaining with 12.30 ferry.

If you prefer, please arrive Tuesday.
