7. Meet location / timings: Meet at the end of the road – in front of the lifeboat station to unload kayaks and gear.  Park at the free car park, 500metres back the way you came in by the entrance to the Roa Island Sailing Club – as courtesy to residents.  Briefing at 10am, changed and boats in place @road end, infront of Lifeboat Station

Tide height is 7.0m with LW Barrow at 1300 – just past Neapes  The trip is up to 20km depending upon the weather, so with a stop for lunch (please bring your own!) we should be back at Roa Island by 1500

I am happy to co-ordinate and lead the trip for 5 paddlers and more if I have another leader. However, as we will be a team, we are jointly responsible for one another’s safety on the water.

Please ensure you carry the correct kit for the trip – plenty of food and drink to share.
