Should be finished by 12.30. at the latest. We will meet in Kendal and shuttle to Bureneside before paddling back to Kendal, giving us opportunities to play and improve skills. You will need your own kit- forecast to be 3oC so warm clothes needed RSVP essential. We may do a 3rd session if those attending are keen and the wether / water levels are suitable.

If water level is suitable we will meet at Scroggs weir, Kendal at 9.30 ( drive down narrow land and park by the river). Depending on water levels, we may include a short easy section of river.   7. Advanced Whitewater River Trip - Grade III/IV Date: Sunday 21st Jan Location: TBC - depending on water levels; hopefully somewhere a bit different, Rain forecast for morning. Meet Time: 11.00 - location on river Will confirm details (location and meet time) by 8.30 on the day before trip then we can arrange lifts as required. Hope there is enough water!! Saturday 6 p.m. update. Not sure of rainfall volume or timing so go for an 11.00 meet time. Give it time to get into rivers. It will be cold with SE wind. will confirm location at 9.00 a.m. !! Starting --- High Water is 10.09m at 13.16 p.m. so aim set off paddle from Canal foot Ulvertson promenade at 9.00 a.m. Finishing at A590 car park ( see below) 4. From there paddle out into the Bay. Meet the incoming tide, surf a bore if it appears, Then follow it all the way back to the car park. Option to meet at Canal Foot. at 9.00 to be on the water for 9.15 a.m. Good tide the following day also, so might be out at Arnside /Ulverston again.

Bring swimwear and maybe a t shirt The pool will be split so half the pool will be available for personal skills development - coaching usually avaiable The other half for polo skills including introduction to polo skills, passing, rules etc. If you have not been before just turn up. Groups should email the club prior to the event

It is possible we may catch the incoming tide/ bore wave. Highly weather dependent reserve date will be the next day Thursday 7th Dec meet time will be 09.15 a.m. Friday update 1/12Looking at forecast for next Wednesday it seem like it will be too windy . Currently forecasting force 4 gusting 6 with rain.If the forecast does not change I will rearrange date.The reserve date of Thursday is slightly worse.If you are interested we could do a river paddle instead. With a slightly later start to allow rivers to flow. Monday 4/12 Event cancelled due to strong wind forecast. Will rearrange in the new year.
