Please note this is NOT an official LCC event, there will be no formal leadership or coaching - just a few paddlers enjoying the water. Sea kayak trip, Leven Estuary Aim is to paddle from the put-in, just south of Ulverston up to the bridge at Greenodd, (or slightly beyond) on the flood tide. High tide is 11:56 at Liverpool, so we will need to be on the water for 9:56 to make the most of it. To avoid a long trudge across the mud/sand, we'd aim to be back by 14:00. Details; the forecast is for rain and SW winds; the estuary is relatively sheltered, but we will (as always) assess the condiitons before setting out. Meeting point Ulverston (Canal foot) SD 314776, NOT Wadhead Scar car park, (SD308746) as previously suggested Trip co-ordinator Phil Clayton 0785 0202405.
