    I'll join Giles on a SUP weather permitting. I can sign up and act as SUP leader. I'll just be back from the IOM so will have the sea kayak as backup.

    Event details Short notice trip. Meet St Bees car park 1100hrs. Gentle paddle from St Bees to St Bees Head (or further) and back 1. Event co-ordinator Alistair Hornsby 2. Trip Leader leader Alistair Hornsby 3. Trip type: Sea 4. Level of ability : improver or better 5. Date: Tuesday 5th September 6. Venue : St Bees on the water for 11.30 7. Meet location / time : 11.00 at St Bees car park. 8. Meet to share lifts at: TBC 9. Anything else: HW 1545hrs. Only a gentle 6km, maybe few more if we go further around St Bees Head. Lunch at Fleswick Bay Wind forecast is good according to XC Weather. Easterly F2 gusting F4 later.     3+ hour paddle up the Irt, Mite and Esk. Meet on beach by 0900hrs. Launch by 0930hrs. Ideal opportunity for some Seaquest training in preparation for the event on Sunday 21st May.
