    4. Level of ability :             Improver 
    5. Date:      Wednesday 10th April 2024
    6. Venue:       Ravenglass.

    7. Meet location/ timings: 
    Meet at 10.45 to be on the water at 11.30. HW Ravenglass 13.10 Meet on the beach at end of Main Street Ravenglass (SD 084 964) to off load kayaks etc.. to then park in car park in village. Plan is to paddle on the flood as far as we can get up the Esk, have some lunch and paddle back with the Ebb to Ravenglass.  back at Ravenglass at around 3 - 3.30pm 8. Meet to share lifts:  Always good to share lifts to save on fuel & emissions. Check the WhatsApp group nearer the time.
    9. Anything else:  Please bring lunch and a warm drink. 
    10. Please allow those that had signed up to the cancelled trip in March time to sign up first if they can make it. Thanks.

    Tim Hogan has kindly offered to give some coaching on open boat basics. For me, I'm looking at edge control and trim, but I've no doubt there'll be other practical stuff in the offing. A low key, informal session - I've no doubt we'll have a laugh while we're out there.
    5 x OPEN BOATS ONLY

    2. Trip type: River grade 2 (ish) - park and play in the currents and eddies
    3. Level of ability:  Improver / Intermediate
    4. Date: Weds 10th April, 10:30
    5. Venue & Meet & Lift Sharing Locations: Sharing - arrange by WhatsApp / Venue - meet west side of Devil's Bridge.
    6. Anything else:
    I am happy to co-ordinate and lead the trip. However, as we will be a team, we are jointly responsible for each other’s safety on the water.   Open boats only. RSVP for 5 x boats. Tandem paddlers welcome. Contact me if you intend bringing someone.

    A circumnavigation of Holy Island on Tuesday and a trip up the Tweed from Berwick on Tweed on Wednesday.
    Staying overnight in the Lindesfarne Hostel.
    Driving north from Kendal on Tuesday morning to start the trip at 12.00 from Holy island harbour.
    Wednesday driving to Spittal to paddle the river Tweed and back by 4pm.
