    I was on the previous Improver Piel Island trip in April. Still have limited sea kayaking experience. May I be a reserve if there are not enough numbers? Thanks.

    Paul A really enjoyable evening. The Met forecast was definitely better than Windy. But both didn't predict how nice the weather turned out. A good call. Thanks to you and Tim for a very instructive evening.

    There is a BIG difference between Windy and the Met Office? Windy has wind speeds TWICE that of the Met Office. 🤔

    I’m assuming that the Windy forecast is somewhere near the mark. Rain and Wind Force 4+ (with Force 7 gusts). Killington is probably the safest way to gain some experience in these conditions? At least the sun is forecast to make an appearance? Wind Speed mph

    I am only an improver kayaker so not up for an 8km "open crossing". Happy to take my car on to Bute and participate in anything easier. But I am sure that your trip will be filled with intermediate kayakers. Thanks. Tony
