  10. Welcome to the postponed Christmas Paddle (Now Renamed more appropriately) Tomorrow, the originally noted section of the Lune looks ok to go from Devils Bridge Kirkby Lonsdale to Loyn Bridge Hornby a distance of circa 10 Km River Levels showing on the Killington Guage is currently .688 I have done it at .35 which is about the bottom limit so whilst it is likely to drop a little more it should be a nice paddle. Weather look favourable, chilly so wrap up warm 1 Deg at 09:00 rising to a tropical 4 Deg at Noon, light breeze from the North so all good so far. I’m looking at being on the water at say 10:30 Hrs can we assemble at the Kirkby Lonsdale side of the old bridge at 9:30 to do a shuttle to Loyn Bridge. Please bring a Hot Drink and food as we will likely stop midway. Please ensure you carry all the normal safety kit and please also carry a helmet (precautionary). I have made an assumption regarding a meeting time however as I am unaware of everyone’s homebase travel times may be a little tight, please let me know if this is an issue, that said we don’t want to be too late in the day as the temperature will begin dropping as afternoon progresses.
