River Ribble Open Boat Trip

4.            Limit 6 boats  with 1 or 2 paddlers (so Max 12 Paddlers in 6 Boats)

5.            Only main paddlers to sign on initially,  any tandem co / paddlers will need  to sign on after I have subsequently opened it up specifically for them.

9.            Venue: River Ribble Section Clitheroe (Edisford Bridge to Ribchester) section Generally G2 with 1 weir to be portaged

10.        WhatsApp group will be set up nearer the time

11.        Meet location: Edisford bridge  / time : 09.30 (TBC)

12.        Meet to share lifts at: TBA 

13.        Anything else: Warm drinks/ packed lunch

14.        Please note if water levels are not sufficient I may substitute a river or cancel.

I am happy to co-ordinate and lead the trip. However, as we will be a team, we are jointly responsible for each other’s safety on the water.

Please ensure you carry the correct kit for the trip you are attending - decent helmet a must (https://lakelandcanoeclub.wordpress.com/whitewater-safety-helmets/) and drysuit recommended! (Helmets not mandatory for the whole trip but must be carried to be used when advised)
