A gentle NY paddle to open the 'touring' account for 2024. The forecast is looking kind so far: no rain; a light wind with no definite direction as yet; it will be chilly at middling single figures.

4. Meet at Wrayrigg pay & display car park (1.5km north of Bowness) at 1030 on Friday 5th Jan. On the Lake for 1100. Google Maps
5. Paddle plan will be agreed on the day depending on exactly what the weather is doing.

If you have a trolley, bring it along to make life easier.
Could be very cold, dress warm
Bring sandwiches and a flask if you wish but we will be stopping at a cafe en-route (coffee and cake!) in any case.
