For this session, can everyone plan a one-day trip suitable for improvers (could be on a lake). British Canoeing have a journey planning sheet that you might find useful:
Volunteers to lead discussions on aspects of trip planning at this meeting are:
* Nicola - issues to take into account when planning a trip
* Graham - where to get info on the weather, tides, swell, etc.
* Sally - environmental issues to take into account
* Giles - a Masterclass on getting events onto the LCC calendar and managing the bookings.
The intention is for people to critique each other's plans and end up with say a dozen trip ideas we can then seek leaders for, so these are trips that you will be actively involved in planning and organising
