Date: Wednesday 27th March 2024 6. Venue: Wampool Estuary North Cumbria Coast 7. Meet location/ timings: Meet at 10.10am to be on the water for 10.50am. HW Silloth is 12.50pm. There is an exposed section of coastline, 3-4km, where we'll be paddling with possibly a beam swell and expect a few waves as we round Grune Point over the sand banks, the same on the return leg. Return on the Ebb to the starting point. Approx 22km and back at the cars around 3.30pm 8. Meet to share lifts: Always good to share lifts to save on fuel & emissions. Date: Wednesday 14th Feb 2024 6. Venue: Wyre Estuary - Knott-End-On-Sea The paddle is 24km one way approx 3.5 hours 7. Meet location / timings: 10.15 Meet at St Michaels and transfer some kayaks. Need to leave 2 cars at St Michaels. 10.35 Shuttle to Knott End Quail home Road parking 11.00 at Knott End get ready and move kayak to water edge 11.20 Briefing for trip 11.30 set off 14.15 arrive at St Michaels and egress 8.
