Title: Advanced Whitewater River Trip - Grade III/IV
Date: Saturday 13 January
Location: River Tees - High Force down to Scooberry Bridge. Currently approaching a low medium level, so should still be at a nice level tomorrow. It’s a relatively short section so the plan would be to repeat it. The section downstream of Barnard Castle could be an alternative if there is opposition to my original suggestion!
Meet Time: Meet 10:00 just past the road bridge which crosses the river on the B6277 on the way into Middleton-in Teesdale. There is a Church on the right hand side of the road and a sign for a public car park. This is not far from the get out for the High Force section and not too far to get to Barnard Castle for the lower section either if we decide to do that.
