HI John, I have a shoulder injury, which started at the River rescue practice, not sure how. However a couple of weeks ago I had an incident, a Buttermere, that worsened the injury to the extent I couldn't paddle and had to abandon the paddle. Yesterday I was on the Easy river paddle on Eden hoping I would be OK, taking it easy!

Things went reasonably well yesterday, but was quite painful again by the end of the paddle. Its clear my injury is going to take some time to recover, consequently its prudent I allow some recovery time for my injury and will now avoid paddling until things settle down.

Its not fair on others for me to expect they moderate their paddling, or worse have to assist me. I was so looking forward to these autumn/winter paddles.

I have removed myself.

Cheers George
