May Canal paddle to Tewitfield

A spring canal paddle from Bolton le Sands to the Tewitfield Locks 5 miles each way.

4. Level of ability: Beginner upwards

5. Date. Wednesday 29th May

6. Venue. Lancaster canal

7. Meet 9.30am. Large lay-by at canal side 1 mile south of Carnforth on the A6.

8. Anything else; It could be a cold day so bring warm gear just in case. Flask and lunch but we may have lunch at the Longlands Hotel.

Two hour paddle to Tewitfield, lunch then return. Back at start by 3pm

9. Good to share lifts if possible.
