Easy paddle from Ferry Beach (Public launch way) on the Promenade - Walney (LA14 3BN this is postcode for the Ferry Hotel opposite) , on the Channel past BAE Systems ship building complex, deep water berths and Windfarm support area,
In to the channel down to Foulney and then onto Piel Island for lunch then back up to Ferry Beach, down on the ebb and paddle back against last of ebb (vv light flow at this stage of the tide ).....we will very likely see some seals.
