7. Meet location / timings: Meet at the end of the road – in front of the lifeboat station to unload kayaks and gear.  Park at the free car park, by the entrance to the Roa Island Sailing Club – as courtesy to residents.  Briefing at 10am, changed and boats in place  in front of Lifeboat Station

8. Meet to share lifts:  Always good to share lifts.. I can offer someone a lift from Kendal


Tide height is 7.1m with HW Barrow at 0922 – just past Neaps  The trip length depends upon the weather, with a stop for lunch we should be back at Roa Island by before 15:00

RSVP limit 6 paddlers. Increased if we have another leader. However, as we will be a team, we are jointly responsible for one another’s safety on the water.

Please ensure you carry the correct kit for the trip – plenty of food and drink to share.

RSVP at least 2 days before the event.
