Cancelled Arnside Bore

This trip is cancelled.

I have no desire to repeat Saturdays experience of being stuck on the sand for such a short lived opportunity on the bore.

Arnside Bore wave: This trip will only run if we have a good wave on Saturday. I will post an update here by 18:00 on Saturday 30th to confirm or cancel depending on the quality of the wave and the wind forecast.

9. Anything else:  It’s tricky for first timers as a very powerful wave over shallow water, therefore it’s easy to get tripped up 

Tide height is 9.61 (Ramsden Dock )so there should  be a good bore wave???

HW is at 13.21 Barrow so aim to be on the water at Arnside at 09:50

Should be back in Arnside by 12.20

River or sea kayaks. 

Bring a helmet to wear when on or following the bore

If intending to ride borewave must have a solid first time roll.

You can join us and just follow the bore wave if you don't wish to surf on it 

Not suitable for novices.
