Due to work committments there has been a request to alter the details of this trip. It is therefore now planned to run from Tuesday 5th Nov to Sat 9th Nov - two days earlier than originally planned. The new plan is to travel up on the Tuesday and to get the car shuttle done and out of the way. Then to canoe the length of the river over the next four days, travelling home on the evening of the last day (Saturday). (Alternatively you can stay over and travel on the Sunday if you want).

PEER TRIP A classic descent of the River Spey from Aviemore to Spey Bay in open canoes carrying all of our camping kit and covering approximately 69 miles through beautiful Highland scenery. The plan would be to complete the trip in three-and-a-half days of paddling with time to pack up and travel home on the last day. This will entail three nights of wild camping after the clocks have gone back, when the days are a little shorter and the nights a little cooler (and potentially wetter). It will involve early starts and full days of paddling but this will be assisted by the flow of the river.
