  1. Part of the series of safety practice sessions. This one is for kayakers, aimed at grade 3 and above water. Will be covering practicing those skills to keep your self and your team safe. Doing the basics well and moving on to practice the skills the group feel they need to sharpen up. I know it is towards the end of the season, but we will be in the water a lot so don’t want it too cold, and it’s good prep for those summer trips. specific things I hope to cover this session.   6. I was thinking of coming with my sea boat. if the numbers are too great and you want to split a bit I’d be happy to lead other sea kayaks.

Surfers Against Sewage Protest Paddle about the waste, overflow and farm runoff going into our rivers and lakes and killing them. about the government and the EA not holding water companies that are paying out huge corporate bonuses to account. Bring placards if you want the more people the better, kayaks, canoes, sea kayak, SUP boards. 11.00am Borrans car park, I’m imagining that car parking maybe difficult.   11. I think insufficient water to make a trip worth while and potentially now only two people paddling, so trip cancelled.
  12. A chance for as many people as possible who are interested in the Alpine trip to Briancon in June (see calendar) to paddle together and have a face to face meeting to plan the event.     Not been to a pool session with LCC before, happy to use a club/pool boat if they are there. happy to coach.
