*** Update **** Many apologies, due to an unforeseen clash of events, we have to cancel this session . There is a session covering similar material on 3rd January , please have a look at that and sign up. We will see how that goes and rearrange John' s session according to demand. You may feel that you should be carrying one or more safety aids when you are on a sea kayaking trip, such as a VHF radio, a personal locator beacon, flares, a satellite tracking device, a phone etc , and have seen them used, but you don't know where to start. This session will present different options and their uses & limitations, with plenty of opportunity for hands on and asking questions, sharing ideas and experiences Session presented by : John Soady Event co-ordinator : Nicola Hartley Session type : Off the water safety training Level of ability : Session aimed at people who don't yet have any/much experience of electronic safety devices and are considering what to use/buy. Date : Monday 15th January 2024 Venue : Kendal Leisure Centre Time : 6.30pm - 8.15pm to allow pool session attenders time to change
