You will be fine so long as its not an outright playboat that goes round in circles! It will be more of a social cruise. Richard & I are now going in sea kayaks.
THIS EVENT IS CANCELLED DUE TO STRONG WINDS FROM THE NEXT NAMED STORM. FORCE 6 TO 9 WHEN WE WOULD BE PADDLING. I will try to re-arrange in calmer weather appropriate to open canoes.
Open Canoe Trip, hopefully on the Lune south of Kirkby Lonsdale

This is a straightforward trip so long as the water is not high nor a strong wind from the south. Paddlers must be able to manoeuvre quickly, the usual overhanging trees can be a hazard. If conditions are unfavourable we may rearrange or cancel. I will post an update by 1800hrs on Wednesday 16th Feb.
