    Easy paddle from Ferry Beach (Public launch way) on the Promenade - Walney (LA14 3BN this is postcode for the Ferry Hotel opposite) , on the Channel past BAE Systems ship building complex, deep water berths and Windfarm support area, In to the channel down to Foulney and then onto Piel Island for lunch then back up to Ferry Beach, down on the ebb and paddle back against last of ebb (vv light flow at this stage of the tide ).....we will very likely see some seals. A trip of around 12 miles /20km The weather forecast is for light winds NNE - N - veering westerly 3-5mph , blue skies (remember what they are?) Small Neap tide 7.8M HW 07:55hr LW 14:30hr Meet Ferry Beach 10:30hr on the water for 11:00hrs expect to be back for around 15:00hrs Trip leader now confirmed - Sten Limit of 6 attendees unless enough leaders come along
