Coastal day trips in Anglesey. Possible trips are Rhoscolyn bay and shorelines with some rock hopping, Four mile bridge to Rhoscolyn bay, the Menai straits, possibly even a look at South Stack lighthouse in slack tide. We'll be meeting on the 1st day (Thursday 18th) at 10am at Morrison's Cafe in Holyhead. There will be an opportunity to get involved in trip planning. You'll need to arrange your own accommodation. Anglesey Outdoors has beds in shared accommodation available, they also do camping, but you'll need to give them a call. Another good campsite is Outdoor Alternative. Upper Tryweryn river which is a man made course, but natural feeling with some great features. You need to book yourself a space on the national White water centre website here https://www.nationalwhitewatercentre.co.uk/. Go to book, then select paddler facility fee. Advanced White Water kayak trip to the rivers Moriston, Garry and Etive up near Fort William. We'll be doing the Garry on Saturday, followed by the upper section of the Moriston (several runs).
