Maybe put out a request on WhatsApp. However, whilst on this occasion I will be in a dry suit, I usually paddle in separates anyway, and run WWSR courses in them. They have never been an issue if good quality and cinched tight. If I can be of any more assistance please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you. yours sincerely, Mark.

  7. Dear Simon, Mark and Pete, Hello - if the rivers aren’t bonkers on Sunday, my preference for venue would be the Lower Duddon, the Clough or maybe the Sprint. If the Lower Duddon, we could leave a car, or cars, by the bridge and run the gorge section several times before continuing to the egress. Alternatively, run the gorge section several times to optimise the day, practice lines, eddies etc. Lots of white water action and good quality training. With the Clough, we could combine it with the Lower Rawthey. Thank you and I look forward to seeing you. Regards, Mark H.

Dear All, Please excuse me for having to leave tomorrow's paddle at short notice - I'm not feeling well enough. Sue - nevertheless, I am hoping to be able to join you on Saturday. Have a safe and enjoyable trip tomorrow. Thank you. Regards, Mark.
  9. Dear Mark, Hello - thank you for organising this trip. I have withdrawn simply due to the M6 closure this weekend. I live near the motorway and A6 alternative and there’s signs everywhere warning about very long delays. Rather than get caught out, I will exercise discretion. I hope you have a good day out and I look forward to seeing you soon. Thank you, Regards, Mark H.
  10. Dear Ian, Hello, I would like to come along on this trip too please. It would be feasible to divide into two groups if numbers dictate. Thank you. Regards, Mark H.
