We will paddle the lower section of the Rawthay today to the Lune getting out at Rigmaden Bridge. Meet at Rigmaden Bridge at 10.30
From 2nd December. The rule of 6 will once again apply to meeting outdoors - for recreational paddling with friends and family, and for groups of coaching and leader ratios of 1:5

1.Peer River Trip - Saturday 5th December 10.00am
2.Intermediate: aiming for Grade 3 or 3(4) depending on conditions and peoples inclinations
3. Venue to decide nearer the time - dependent on water levels etc.
4. No lift sharing to get to trip. Running shuttles with mitigation, so please bring your own face covering or organise your own shuttle.
5. Trips may be cancelled or rearranged at short notice depending upon weather, and the preferences of those paddling.
6. Hoping to confirm trip details on the Friday evening but to avoid a wasted journey, please ensure you check the calendar on Saturday morning for any last minute changes (update by 8.30AM)
I am very happy to co-ordinate this trip, choose a river, set up put ins and take outs, but I will not be the leader.
It is very likely that there will be other very competent paddlers on trip, many have more experience than myself.

Hi Linda, you can get as wet as you like really! We will also revisit tows and do some rescue scenarios so there should be plenty of practical elements to do where you don't need to be in the water too

4. Venue : Lake based exact location tbc nearer the time (probably Coniston or Ullswater)
5. Meet location / time : 10am Location tbc (dependant on Lake and weather conditions)
6. Meet to share lifts at: No lift share due to Covid-19.
7. Anything else : Please bring any safety kit you might already have, tow lines, flares, radios, self rescue floats etc. Dry suit or change of clothes recommendand a hot drink and snacks as we will be getting wet!
