1. Complete ‘circumnavigation’ around Lakelands 2nd largest lake from Waterside Farm camp site in the NE – with lunch and possible ice-cream on route. 15 miles, about 5hrs. This could be in any craft, sea kayaks would be the preferred choice, but be aware of the weather conditions and the drag of short boats! It’s a long way!
2. Meet at Waterside Farm camp site (GR 463230) - 10am. We can park our cars there, but it will cost £5 per vehicle. Remember Pooley Bridge is out, so access will need to be the B5320 from Penrith.

What a forecast! Force 6-7 Westerly, 1-2degrees with snow showers. I'm going to go anyway, it will be a headwind at the start and see how many metres I get before surfing back!
