1. Paddle the length of Windermere from Newby Bridge to Waterhead. 12 miles, 4-5hrs. This could be in any craft, sea kayaks to open boats, but be aware of the weather conditions and the drag of short boats! It’s a long way!
3. Meet at Ambleside YHA 9.30am

5. Any special notes: We’ll leave one car at the Youth Hostel and drive to Newby Bridge with the kit. Bring a flask and lunch for a stop en route, we'll stop for a brew in the café at the end. The trip is weather dependent - Friday night update: good to go, SE 3-4 during the day, gales at night! Meet 9.30am Ambleside YHA. 8 paddlers in total I think.
