A unofficial trip for Sea Kayaks on Coniston Water with an opportunity to practice deep water rescues.
This trip will run from one of the free car parks on the East side of the lake. I will choose the precise location nearer the time, when I have an idea where people are travelling from and how many cars are involved. The start and prevailing weather will dictate where and how far we journey.
If you want to participate in the rescue practice please dress accordingly, you will get wet.
We will meet at 10:00 and be finished by 15:00. Bring a flask and lunch.
