2. Starting from Whitehaven, paddling under the committing but majestic cliffs of St Bees Head, round to St Bees beach. About 6.5 miles, 2-3 hrs.
3. Meet at St Bees 11.45am (car park at N end of beach by the ILB station.

5. Any special notes: LW Liverpool 1440. We'll transfer kit and drive to Whitehaven to be on the water for 1pm. The in-shore waters forecast F3-4 and there will be a good swell running which will be chaotic in the overfalls and a good brace/roll is essential. We're still on with a meet at St. Bees at 11.45am.
