2. Starting from beach car park at Biggar (SW Walney Island), heading south passing the nature reserve, seal sanctuary, Piel Island and up the Walney Channel to Jubilee Bridge. About 11 miles, 4 hrs.
3. Meet at 9.00am on the Walney side of Jubilee Bridge – by the slipway.

5. Any special notes: HW Liverpool 1440. We'll transfer kit and drive to Biggar (GR183662) to be on the water for 9.45am. Bring a flask and lunch. The trip is weather dependent - Friday night: good to go! 9am at Jubilee Bridge. There will be some rougher water (overfalls) off the SW point.
