Winter Mid Week Trips Focusing on Moving Water Skills in a Sea Kayak

Leaders will be coaching moving water skills and this is not just a tour. Participants will be expected to join in the skills activities as we progress down the lakes and rivers. Manoeuvres such as: Positive paddling upstream, Ferry gliding,  Bow rudder,  Edging, Breaking out & Breaking into moving water & Bracing will be coached.

The trip will be led by a BC-qualified or an LCC-approved leader, however, we will paddle as a team taking joint responsibility for each other’s safety on the water.
