1. Complete paddle around Thirlmere Reservoir from Armboth – with lunch on route. 12 miles, about 4½ hrs. This could be in any craft, sea kayaks would be the preferred choice, but be aware of the weather conditions and the drag of short boats!
2. Meet at Kendal Leisure Centre 9am or Armboth Car Park at 10am. It’s a Pay & Display car park.

4. Any special notes: We’ll be doing a round trip so there will be no need for a shuttle. Bring a flask and lunch for a stop en route. Depending on wind, we may start from a different location. The trip is weather dependent - check this message on Friday night!
