1. Paddle the length of Windermere from Newby Bridge to Waterhead. 12 miles, 4-5hrs. This could be in any craft, sea kayaks to open boats, but be aware of the weather conditions and the drag of short boats! It’s a long way!
2. Meet at YHA Ambleside - 9.30am

4. Any special notes: We’ll leave a car at YHA Ambleside and drive with the kit to Newby Bridge to put on above the weir by the Sun Inn, with a short upstream paddle to get into the lake. Bring a flask and lunch for a stop en route. The trip is weather dependent - check this message on Friday night!
