We can practice in the eddies just upstream of the bridge
If it rains enough and water levels are suitable we can set up a shuttle and journey down to the confluence with the River Rawthey
The level of ability for these paddling trips is aimed at people who are already consider themselves Improvers and who may wish to progress to an Intermediate standard.
These particular days are for Kayaks only.
I find it really hard not too be welcome anybody onto any trip, but on occasion when advanced paddlers attend these trips, people for whom these trips are intended are unable to attend.
British Canoeing Moderate Water remit specifies one leader to a maximum number of four participants.
The rivers I have in mind would not exceed British Canoeing remit for Moderate Water -Grade 2(3)

Could I emphasize ......
Dry suits only - in summer it might be possible to manage without a dry suit, but in winter an early dip has more severe consequences for the individual concerned and the rest of the group.
Kayak specific helmets with protection over temples and ears must be worn on theses trips. Something like a Sweet Rocker as oppose to a Sweet Strutter - over brands are available
