The trip is confirmed as going ahead tomorrow 

This trip starts and finishes at Glasson dock

Which combines sea, river and canal to do an 18 mile circuit in the Lancaster area. 

The trip will be limited to 12

3. Trip type: Sea Estuary, canal

4. Level of ability : improver or better

5. Date: Monday 16th May

6. Venue : Lancaster

7. Meet location / time : 

Glasson Dock car park 9.45am

8. Meet to share lifts

Using the WhatsApp group when set up

9. Anything else: 

The aim is to have a nice leisurely and sociable paddle with plenty of stops

This trip is weather dependant so if the forecast is unfavourable the extent of the trip or the venue may change  I will post the decision on here on Sunday 15th by 18:00.

Tide height is 9.54m.Barrow

HW Barrow is at 12.15 so aim to be on the water by 10:15 latest

There are 8 small portages the worst being the carry up the the viaduct

I am happy to co-ordinate and lead the trip. However, as we will be a team, we are jointly responsible for each other’s safety on the water.

Please ensure you carry the correct kit for the trip you are attending.

Hi Rob, is it possible to register on this trip as a guest please? I intend to join the club, after having a lovely weekend on the arran trip with CC..currently still on Arran.... im a member of penrith Cc.

Yes you would be welcome as a guest but there would be some paperwork to fill in on the day. 

Unless you have now joined Lakeland the you can just join on the site

Hi Claire if you can complete a guest form , available on the club website, before the trip.
