Beginners River Trip

 

The sort of rivers I have in mind would not exceed Grade 2(3)

My intention is still to  keep river choice at the bottom of the remit – Grade 2 rather than solid Grade 3

These trips are aimed at paddlers in their early stages of their development as whitewater paddlers and are building up their experience of running rivers

Any river in flood or spate is considered to be out with the club remit due to the additional risk of rescuing as swimmer and the extra difficulties rescuing kit. Similarly any rapid or fall for which adequate safety can be not set is considered out with the club remit.

Attendees will be added to a WhatsApp group for the event. Please check WhatsApp and the calendar to confirm location, suitable river levels, and that the trip is running.
