2. Starting from beach car park at Biggar (SW Walney Island – it does have a height restrictor at 2m), heading south passing the nature reserve, seal sanctuary, Piel Island and up the Walney Channel to Jubilee Bridge. About 11 miles, 4 hrs.
3. Meet at 9.30am on the Walney side of Jubilee Bridge – by the slipway.

5. Any special notes: HW Liverpool 1530. We'll transfer kit and drive to Biggar (GR183662) to be on the water for 10.30am. Bring a flask and lunch for a pit stop at the castle. Friday night update: Forecast is S/SW 5-6, current wave buoy in Morecambe Bay is reading 4.5-5.5' swell and winds are to increase. TRIP IS NOW CANCELLED.
