Park and play
This event is open to all who paddle rivers but please give preference to improvers until Tuesday 9.a.m. It will be an opportunity to practice some basuc stopper skills. Coaching available
Exact session will be dependent upon need of those attending.

I am happy to co-ordinate and lead the trip. However, as we will be a team, we are jointly responsible for each other’s safety on the water.

Event co-ordinator: Sally Soady Trip leader(s) Trip type: flat water / social Level of ability: Improver / intermediate / advanced Date: 11th April Venue: Killington Sailing Association Base, Killington Lake Meet location / time: 18:00 Meet to share lifts at: Update: Given the strong winds forecast for this time, we will not run the timed paddle.
Note: this is not a led session but will be an opportunity to practice skills etc. working with other club members.
The evening will include an optional approx. 3km timed paddle round the reservoir - think ParkRun - as an opportunity to hone your forward paddling, test if you are getting fitter/faster and have some fun.
There will also be an opportunity to hire kit from Cumbria Canoeists - open boats, sea kayaks, paddle boards, or to practice skills, etc.
Bring a picnic for a catch up with other club members.
