Don't worry Paul - I'll put some more sessions on
-
I am / would suggest you do - probably won't use them - but good to keep options open
-
Yes please please do
The more the merrier, the more discussion we have and the greater the exchange of views the better it will be.
This goes for anyone else whether they have views ready to exchange or they just want to listen to all the discussion

7th March Monday morning
Another week of no water. Propose to discuss white water safety, meeting at Devils Bridge at 10:00
Number limits increased - we are not paddling a river
Parking on the East of the River
-
Proposing a flat water session plus a run down the Leven to the end of the Graveyard
If we meet as for the Leven put in
We could go up river in to the pools by Fell Foot and practice and then try it out on moving water down the river.
-
It is only Tuesday and it may yet change but probably low water
Proposing a flat water session
If we meet as for the Leven put in
We could go up river in to the pools by Fell Foot and practice.

Hi
I think on balance we should cancel the day
Very cold and not much waterBrian
-
Tuesday Night - because I can't see it changing much and options are limited
River Leven - Slalom Coures
Meet in the layby on the East Bound carriageway, just after the Backbarrow turn off but before the going over the bridge
If coming from the Kendal, I usually go to the Backbarrow turn off, do a "U" turn on the side road and then drive back out of the junction and along the carriageway and pull into this very busy layby

I am call this one off
Although the average strength is manageable it is gusting quite hard.
The forecast has been pretty consistent all week and I don't think the situation will change
Another day?

There is probably going to be no water this Thursday but the Sea is quite full with a tide of 9.3m at 11:36I wondered if, and it is if, because I am not 100% sure everybody has sea kayaks, we could have a run up the Leven EstuaryIf we met for a start time of 09:36 (sharp) with a sea kayak we could explore the estuaryWhat do people think?

Hi
Meet at 10:00 at .......
Levels are difficult so there are not many options
If we do the Lower Kent we can do or not do various rapids as we make our way down and try and make the best of poor conditions
