  6. Trip is confirmed This is a park and play session which will focus on sea kayak skills for setting off and landing in surf ( assuming there is some). Setting off in surf, landing in surf. Bongo sliding, edging etc. Rolling practice. It will not be a free surf event but will take a structured approach to developing skills. We will work in pairs and watching out for each others safety. Wheels might be useful to take your kayak down beach.     The basic plan is to drive to Central France and paddle the Allier river on a 4/5 day trip probably wild camping. Monday 26th June to 30th Then move on to Dordogne for a second 5 day trip Sunday July 2nd to Thursday 6th. Basically, a holiday with lots of paddling rather than a long extended canoe trip. If you are interested contact Mike Hayward asap it may be possible for 1 or 2 to kayak River grades up to grade 2. Plus 3 portages We will rent canoes and shuttle from the Local provider. Cost for the canoe hire shuttle for the 3 rivers is about £420 for 2 people in a canoe. Solo paddlers cost is about £300.
