    Evening mid-wk paddlers - Julian, Rob, Derek, Maggie and Chris - I hope you are all set for the morning all ready for a leisurely start - 11am at brick lane parking area. However, the access road to brick lane, besides the sports centre is closed! SO From the Kendal direction: left at the main traffic lights - as normal 3rd left? off the main drag is MORCAMBE Rd Turn Right onto BRICK Lane somewhere towards the end of Morcambe Rd. carry onto the end of Brick Lane to find the dog walkers parking area. see you all in the morning - look forward to a swift morning

    Due to adverse weather forecast, I am cancelling the Kirkcudbright/Fleet Islands Trip - HEAVY rain all day and strong winds. an alternative trip for beginners upwards will be on Tuesday 29 September - dryer day and low winds.
