Meet to share lifts: 09:45 at M6 junction 37, west side at the arrow on the map. 9. Anything else: We’ll meet at the start, organise kit then shuttle the cars to the egress. Plan is to catch the ebb down the Esk estuary, merge with the Eden estuary and exit on the north side of the Solway. Total distance around 20km. Bring a flask and food! HW at Annan is 11:30, so aim to be on the water for 12:00 Should be off the water around 3.30pm. Sea kayaks only. Please read notes re Sea trips here: https://lakelandcanoeclub.wordpress.com/trips/ The trip will be led by a BC qualified or an LCC approved leader, however we will paddle as a team taking joint responsibility for each other’s safety on the water. Meet location / time: Glasson Dock car park, opposite public toilets (1.98m height barrier) 13.00, on water for 13.30 8. Meet to share lifts: Crookland Canal side at 12.10. 9. Anything else: The plan is to take the flood tide up to the weir in Lancaster, have some lunch before returning on the ebb. Total distance around 20km. HW at Liverpool is 15:30, so aim to be on the water for 13:30 Should be back to the cars around 17:30. Sea kayaks only. Meet to share lifts: 08.50 at M6 junction 37, west side at the arrow on the map. 9. If you have a trolley it would make it easier to get to the water! Bring lunch and a hot drink. HW at Bowness-on-Solway is 12:44, LW is 10:30, so aim to be on the water for 11.00am Should be back to the cars around 3.30pm. Sea kayaks only.
