Event details

This is a two day trip with one overnight camp. Suitable for sea kayaks or open boats. Aim is to explore this very scenic waterway before the midges are out in force!

Meet at  river bank near Kenbridge Hotel  ( by A712 bridge over Water of Ken) at 10.30 a.m.

Will do shuttle takes about  1 hour,  Aim to set off paddling at midday

Flat water to Loch Ken, descend Loch Ken. Portage dam at end of Loch. Paddle river Dee to Bring of Dee

We will wild camp so bring all you need and plenty of drinking water.

Happy to help all with portaging the dam wall!

This trip for  those that want to experience multi day trip  and would like to do camping also.

Should be at finish mid/ late afternoon on day 2.
