A trip up and down the Leven Estuary starting from Canal Foot Ulverston (SD 314 776). Making use of the flood tide to journey upstream, aiming to reach Low Wood bridge on the lower reaches of the River Leven. A brief stop for a brew and sandwich before returning with the ebbing tide.

Meet at 09:30 to be on the water by, or very soon after 09:45. Expect to be back at Canal foot by 15:00.
