A trip for sea kayaks only. Circumnavigating Walney Island, making use of the tides to assist where possible.
Meet at Roa Island IRB station (SD 233 647) at 09:30 to be on the water by 10:00.
We will travel anti-clockwise around the island, using the tide to travel North up the channel, stopping for a brew and snack at North End Haws. There will options to stop at Earnse Point and if we make good progress we may stop again to so we are not hindered by the tide around the South End. With this in mind bring flasks / brew making equipment and lunch / snacks. We should get back to the cars around 16:00.
